“Snoop Dogg, Lukas Nelson, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, Jamey Johnson, and Micah Nelson all appear on the record.”

No doubt next up will be the Haggard/Snoop Dogg project. Merle definitely seems to have moved toward the ironic–hipster view of “Okie (We don’t smoke marijuana in) Muskogee” in recent years!

I’m sorry to hear about the passing of Elizabeth Cook’s father. Who’s going to handle her merchandise business now? My condolences to the family and especially Elizabeth who really loved her Dad.

I really like the list of additional artists contributing to Willie’s latest album! It’s too bad Willie waited until his voice was so far past its prime to do this project. Oh well…

I think 25 cents is about what a lot of modern pop-rock country schlock albums are worth these days. Truth is I wouldn’t listen to most of them even if they were offered for free.
