I truly hope the prognosis for Wade Hayes is good, but the words “Stage Four” are never good when it comes to any form of cancer. I’ve had two friends die of colon cancer in the last five years and for both of them the progosis was “good”

Guys – don’t be macho – know the symptoms and get them checked – the life you savew will be yours

Sorry about Wade Hayes.
He seems to be one of those people about whom they say “If he didn’t have bad luck, he wouldn’t have any luck at all.”

I remember when he hit in the early ’90s with that “Old Enough to Know Better/ Still Too Young to Care” song–I thought he was going to be a huge country star. (And so did a lot of other people!)

I guess there are just too many unknown variables to be able to tell who’s going to be big and who’s going to fall by the wayside. Maybe Hayes came in just a tad too late, after the new-traditional movement had already peaked.

Of course, that’s all trivia now. I hope he beats this.
