That "Mens Health" article would be a lot more interesting if they had chosen someone like David Allan Coe, Billy Joe Shaver, Hank III, or even Jamey Johnson. Oh well...

Does Chet Flippo really think that all those soccer moms want "common man" themed pop-rock country songs? The more shallow and superficial the better, just like in all of the pop culture realm. On the other hand I see nothing wrong with the common usage of babalicious babes in anything! (lol)

OPRY Alert! Tonight's Opry will feature Charley Pride, Crystal Bowersox, Jason Michael Carroll and Ricky Skaggs. Saturday night's Opry will include Charley Pride, Ronnie Dunn, Chuck Mead, Craig Morgan, and Rascal Flatts. Both earn a B+.

Opry Schedule: http://www.opry.com/shows/ThisWeek.html

PS - Last night's Classic Country Opry was a fine show indeed. Rebecca Lynn Howard sounds more like the early 60's Connie Smith while singing "Once a Day" than Connie does these days! (lol)

Shania Twain's "No One Needs To Know" is the only Shania song I ever purchased via the "Twister" film soundtrack. What a great little folk-pop song that is.
