I did quite like it though when J.D Crowe included steel guitar in his early recordings. I can't believe Bucky Covington would sink to the level of Shooter Jennings! What is this world coming to?...(lol) The duet of Barry Gibb and Ricky Skaggs on "When The Roses Bloom Again" (which sounded like a Civil War era song) was quite moving on last Friday night's Opry. A couple more songs like that would have been much preferred to the BeeGees stuff. Oh well. That's nice to read about the original line-up BR5-49 reunion. It would have been even nicer if Chuck Mead's vocal chops from that early career period would have come back as well. Are any of these critics writing rave reviews about The Trisha's not from Texas?
