"Rick Rubin may have met his match with Crosby, Stills and Nash on the recording of their long-delayed covers project..."

Well, if Rubin could work things out with Ray Stevens, I'm sure he'll figure out how to work with David Crosby.

<em>"Forget David Crosby, I’d love to see Rick Rubin, Jack White, and T-Bonehead Burnett get in a big scuffle! Hell, I’d do “pay per view” to see that! </em>

If you'd throw Scott Borechetta and Dan Huff in there too, I'd order it.

I haven't followed the link, but when I think of bluegrass the genre defining instruments that come to mind in descending order are banjo, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, guitar, and stand up bass. I did quite like it though when J.D Crowe included steel guitar in his early recordings.

I can't believe Bucky Covington would sink to the level of Shooter Jennings! What is this world coming to?...(lol)

The duet of Barry Gibb and Ricky Skaggs on "When The Roses Bloom Again" (which sounded like a Civil War era song) was quite moving on last Friday night's Opry. A couple more songs like that would have been much preferred to the BeeGees stuff. Oh well.

That's nice to read about the original line-up BR5-49 reunion. It would have been even nicer if Chuck Mead's vocal chops from that early career period would have come back as well.

Are any of these critics writing rave reviews about The Trisha's not from Texas? Those Texans just can't seem to be objective about artists based in the Lone Star State.
