Ticket Giveaway: Dale Watson Concert and Movie Screening at the NC Museum of Art

Juli Thanki | July 8th, 2013

E145 turns two on Thursday, and we’re celebrating with a week of giveaways (for you), cake (for us), and cocktails (also for us), so stay tuned.

On Friday night, Dale Watson and His Lone Stars are playing a concert at the North Carolina Museum of Art; following the concert is a screening of Bernie, a movie with a solid soundtrack that includes songs by Watson, Heybale!, and Miss Leslie.

We’ve got five pairs of tickets to give away to the event (travel not included — you’ll have to find your own way to Raleigh). To enter, leave a comment on this post mentioning your favorite film soundtrack before 9 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, July 11. The winners will be chosen via random number generator and subsequently notified by email, so be sure to use a valid address.

Double bonus: Meet me at the show!

Pretty stoked to have Dale in Raleigh – last time he was here, I somehow managed to be in Texas the one weekend out of the year he’s not there.

This should be a fun evening. My favorite soundtrack is probably O Brother Where Art Thou. I’d love to get tickets to this.

I have no way to go to this show, but I do congratulate you on going on two years, Juli. Let’s hope that’s just the start of many, many long years more.

First, congratulations on turning two! I live in the Raleigh area and would love to attend the Dale Watson and His Lone Stars show. One of my favorite movie soundtrack is Searching for Sugar Man by Rodriguez. Keep up the good work.
