Went and listened to a bunch of Rayna’s album. Not much in the way of up-tempo material ;-), but it’s got a lot of really cool stuff. She’ll be on Music City Roots next week with Scott Miller.

Yes, those quotes did make Taylor Swift seem a little immature, but her donation to the School for the Deaf was classy, so I’ll give her a pass this month.:)

Mazor’s piece of course a great read, but in the article he’s confused Brooks’ songs “Wolves” and “Face To Face”. Or rather, incorrectly lumped them together. “Face” deals with both issues of schoolyard bullies and date rape. “Wolves” is simply a passionate plea to never forget the underdog.
