That is so cool that the January 24th Music City Roots will be from the Tamworth Festival down under! If they air at the normal time that would be happening sometime in the morning on Thursday the 25th in New South Wales. There will be soooo many talented Aussie country artists there I hope they pick some good ones! My top picks would be Catherine Britt, Bill Chambers (who have both been on MCR in the past), Kasey Chambers and hubby Shane Nicholson, Ashleigh Dallas, Harmony James ,and of course The Hillbilly Killers! I guess I'll have to read the link and see! (lol) Leon Russell was a blast on last night's MCR but my feed kept getting interrupted! ARGH! ABC's "Nashville" was also pleasing due to the high "Scarlett Factor" in last night's episode! Keep it up! That Dualtone Records article was interesting indeed. It sounds to me like they have gotten back to the "roots" of how to properly support the music acts they sign. I'd expect them to be around long after the (formerly) Major Nashville Labels have become as extinct as the dinosaurs.
