It’s about time that there’s a good tribute album for John Denver. I’m excited to hear it.

I agree with Leeann that a “good” tribute album honoring John Denver is overdue, I just don’t think those artists listed are the right choices, and especially Lucinda and Brandi. Ugh…

I was expecting that Taylor Swift psychic article to be a put on, but it wasn’t! (Well, I don’t think so anyway?) Let’s see, they quote Taylor as saying the following: “I just love talking about love,” Taylor told Country Weekly. I love writing about love. I love thinking about love because it’s so unpredictable.” Maybe this explains why Taylor is dating 18 year boys these days! Taylor approaches love like a 13 year old girl, and dating boys any younger than 18 could result in legal issues as well as just coming across as downright creepy! If Taylor keeps chasing 18 year old boys as she gets older, all those soccer moms will stop seeing her as being such a good role model for their daughters…
I do like Kathleen Edward’s sense of humor! (lol)

I sure hope this new record gets Rodney Hayden some much deserved attention for his great music and writing. For those that have not seen him live make it a point he has a tradtional contry voice not heard that much these days.

I highly recommend the new Sweethearts of the Rodeo album. Great to hear some good, new music from them.
