Rick, I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Todd Snider. I disagree with pretty much everything he thinks, but he does go about it in a fairly entertaining way. Anyway, the Jerry Jeff album, assuming you enjoy Jerry Jeff, it should be a decent album. If you find some recordings from back in the day, Todd Snider actually has a much stronger voice than you would think. Most of his stoner, laid back personality is kind of a bit.

Re Buddy Miller’s comment: Some of the finest sounding ribbon microphones ever made were designed and bulit by Western Electric back during the 1930′s and 1940′s. If these old mics are properly restored, they can hold their own with any new mic available today. I don’t think they should smell though…

Kudos to Kellie Pickler for doing the combined USO Tour / Honeymoon. That will rank as one of the most unforgettable honeymoons ever! (lol) Kellie has more patriotism in her pinky finger than Obama has in his entire pathetic being…

Gosh, Todd Snider doing a covers album! I can’t imagine anything better than such a golden voiced crooner covering another artist’s songs! (lol)

I’m glad some people find Jonny Corndawg’s schtick entertaining for his sake. Can’t say I’m one of them.

Wow, the Band of Heathens considers 25 songs a “sampler”? For some artists that would be their entire song catalog! Might have to check that one out.

Love Buddy Miller, but how is this:
