I can see all the points made her and I believe they are all warranted, but I actually fine this one fairly likable in the lyrical simplicity and thing that the more acoustic type of production would’ve done much better in the song. Finally, I’d like to point out that I believe this new album will likely be more like her first in that she won’t display her artistry in the same way and that it is very possible it will be a stepping stone to her official return to form with, hopefully, the album to follow.

I do wish the song was a lot closer to the version that she did as kind of an acoustic jam on her reality show.

Great review, Karlie. Just like old times on The 9513.

The song has grown on me to some degree because of the sincerity in Shania’s performance, but I still have to agree with every one of these criticisms. But I appreciated how the review gave credit where credit is due, fully acknowledging Shania’s talents as a vocalist and as a songwriter, as well as her contributions to country music.

Indeed, hopefully this will just be a stutter step, with better things to come in the future.
