Chip is a fine storyteller as well as being an amazing songwriter. Sometimes his brother John Voight drops in and will join him on stage for a song. Lately Chip has made Canadian cutie Kendall Carson part of his road band as a sort of replacement for Carrie Rodriguez. They put on a great show together and I highly recommend seeing them live if they come your way! Thanks for that interesting interview Juli. After a while I got to hate "Wild Thing" since NYC radio played it to death. I still love Anne Murray's "Son of a Rotten Gambler". The name "Chip Taylor" didn't mean anything to me before reading this interview so I looked him up. I see on wiki that he's the brother of Jon Voight. His name is James Wesley Voight.
