Yeah to Charlie Spiering and his keen observations. I totally agree with his assessments of country music although I don’t find “Chicken Fried” as cheesy as he does.

I’ve never taken that angle myself (citing materialism as the problem) but he’s absolutely right. Good comments on the article, too.

OMG, I can’t wait to get hold of that new Jake Owens EP, it sounds just AMAZE.

I’d put money on it that Spiering could have quoted much of the EP’s lyrics for that materialism article too. Good timing ;)
