Nice read as usual Barry. I loved Glen Campbell's TV show back in the late 60's just as much as I did the Johnny Cash show as both were full of great music of a nice variety. Glen will always remain one of the top pop-country artists of all time.

Even though I agree Hunter Hayes is talented, he strikes me as a young Keith Urban so my interest is limited. Now if he'd go through a "The Ranch" period, I might pay more attention...

I'll agree with you about Audrey Auld Mezzera in concert as she puts on an extremely entertaining show. Audrey is a fine story teller and has an acerbic wit that catches some people off guard. After Kasey Chambers' parents split up in the mid 1990's, Kasey's dad Bill hooked up with Audrey down under and they recorded a couple of pure country albums as a duet act. Audrey later married a Californian and after a couple of years they moved to Nashville so she could pursue her career, as Barry described.

Barry, since you like Audrey I'd also highly recommend you catch Alabama native Kimber Sparks in concert if you see her performing around Nashville. Kimber recorded an album down under with Bill Chambers in 2008 titled "It's Her Turn" and it's excellent! Now she's moved to Nashville to pursue her dream like Audrey. Bill Chambers doesn't waste his time with artists whom he feels don't have some real potential!
