“Rocker Ted Nugent came out strong for Mitt Romney at this weekend’s National Rifle Association convention, blasting the Obama administration as “wiping its ass with the Constitution” and demanding the audience rally the troops for the GOP candidate.

I've seen and heard enough clips in recent years of Ted Nugent waving his gun around, screaming profanity, and threatening to shove it up the orifices of various politicians.

I'm certainly eager to see if Romney accepts the endorsement!

Wow! I'm surprised that Rich produced the Gaskin EP. I just downloaded it and it's pretty good, particularly "Satan Knew My Grandma Well."

In the same series as the Lauderdale video is this, from the Infamous Stringdusters, featuring a song I wrote with fiddler/vocalist Jeremy Garrett: http://youtu.be/ByycPR9iot8 .

Just to prove I am not the only music lover who doesn't care much for Obama, here's a blurb from the Huffington Puffinton Compost Pile:

"Rocker Ted Nugent came out strong for Mitt Romney at this weekend’s National Rifle Association convention, blasting the Obama administration as “wiping its ass with the Constitution” and demanding the audience rally the troops for the GOP candidate.

In a video spotted by Right Wing Watch, Nugent doesn’t mince words when describing the sitting president’s administration, which he describes as “vile,” “evil” and “America-hating.”

I truly appreciate Ted openly saying these honest truths about Obama, even if they are quite mild by my standards...(lol)

Wonderful interview with Haggard - the end of the interview hit me particularly hard since my Mom is in the throes of Alzheimers as well

Ken, thanks for the link to our Vern Gosdin coverage!

I can only hope that Brad's new music is a far cry from the horrid mess of songs like "Old Alabama" and "Camouflage." Since the latter only managed to peak at #15, that should (but likely won't) be an indicator that his formula is wearing thin. This is the least excited I've ever been about a new Brad Paisley album.

I'll also be checking out that Bradley Gaskin EP that somehow passed me by.

I didn't watch the ACM Awards Show on TV but I did listen through the Lionel Richie "goes country" concert which aired last Friday night on CBS. Most of the male country singers didn't hold up well against Lionel in duets or singing his songs solo. Big and Rich on the closer "Brick House" were borderline horrid. On the other hand Kimberly Perry, Hillary Scott, and Sara Evans all did a fantastic job and actually redeemed the entire affair. I was especially thankful that Taylor Swift was not one of the participants...(lol)

Well I'm glad Donna Ulisse finished her new album before this Christmas! At least we know it wasn't a last minute rush job...(lol)

I'm so glad The Hag stopped by the Bakersfield Sound exhibit at the CMHOF to talk a bit! I take back my calling him a twit recently, well until he starts talking politics again anyway...

I think Tootsie's itself could have used that $ 400K remodeling job more than the back alley. Is Lower Broadway next?
