I’ll go with something recent with “Railroad Man” by The Malpass Brothers where he sing’s “That’s my train…”. The Iris Dement version of “Hobo Bill’s Last Ride” is top shelf as well.

I’d go for the San Pedro venue as that’s right close to both where I live and work. It must be the Warner Grand Theater but I really can’t understand why they didn’t pick a bigger venue like the Wiltern in LA? Hmmm…

If I win, I’ll bring along some fumigation gear for Jamey Johnson’s beard and hair! (lol)

I love Merle Haggard’s “I Won’t Give Up My Train,” and going with Adam’s mention above of Roger Miller, the Roger and Merle duet of it is best. Tempe would be pushing it for me in Denver – if that TBA one is anywhere in New Mexico, count me for that!

None of the dates are close enough to me, so I’m out of the running. Nevertheless, “Engine Engine #9″ by my main man, Mr. Roger Miller.

Jerry Jeff’s version of “Desperadoes” is indeed better than Guy Clark’s, but, in my opinion, David Allan Coe’s version takes the prize.
