Gram Parsons definitely cast a larger shadow after his death than while he was alive. Gram is the Americana (or more accurately Cosmic American) music equivalent of James Dean. I really look forward to the annual Gram Jam tribute concerts held each summer here in LA.

If Tracy Lawrence had replaced Jason Aldean on stage, that might have been a show worth seeing!

Lackluster Opry Alert! Saturday night’s Opry will feature the cute but vocally limited Mallary Hope, Thomas Rhett, Charlie Nagatani, Billy Gillman, and Gretchen Peters. Even Gretchen is not enough to redeem this show. Grade: C+
