Wow, marriage to Mandy Moore has really turned Ryan Adams into a softie! Who'd a thunk it...

The fact the only radio single Jamey Johnson has released that has charted well was "In Color" a few years ago may have something to do with the lack of current CMA nominations...

I do like gypsy jazz/Django Reinhardt style acoustic music, but jazz banjo ala Miles Davis doesn't sound appealing to me at all. Since I've never cared for Bela Fleck's music, I'm assuming I really wouldn't care for Ryan Cavanaugh. Hmm...

Speaking of the "Footloose" film PR campaign otherwise known as The CMA Awards, will there be a live blog here at Engine 145 featuring Juli and Karlie? I love to read those well after the fact! (lol)

I think that Delbert McClinton's music of the last 15 years is better than his efforts the first 25 years of his career. One reason may be writing with Gary Nicholson. I recently listened to my sister-in-law's early Delbert collection on vinyl and they don't compare to albums like "One of the Fortunate Few", "Room to Breathe", "Cost of Living" and "Acquired Taste".
