I've been a fan of Ashley's music ever since the first advance CD copies of her "Satisfied" album hit ebay back around 2006. For being so young at the time Ashley's songwriting talent was clearly evident to all who'd listen. I want to thank Miranda Lambert for bringing Ashley into the spotlight with the Pistol Annies so that the "Like a Rose" album could get financed and produced. Also, having friends in high places like Vince doesn't hurt matters either. I'm just hoping this new album is on par with "Satisfied" as that would be far more than enough to satisfy me. Hopefully the duets with Trent Dabbs were just some side road ventures that led to a musical dead end and Ashley's back on the true path of country music righteousness! Country Music has needed a record for the ages for sometime now, and from what I've read, this fits the bill. I love when an artist truly understands what music is supposed and cares about being good above all else. 2013 is shaping up to be a very strong year album-wise.
