Thanks. I was surprised at the song's merely moderate chart success and even more surprised that it wasn't nominated for a Grammy or ACM award. I can understand Mr. Coleman's frustration. Besides co-writing “Cost of Livin’” with Ronnie Dunn, Coleman also wrote “All Kinds of Kinds”, the opening song on Miranda’s “Four the Record” album, with Don Henry and, back in ’01, Jo Dee Messina’s “Downtime” with Carolyn Dawn Johnson.
