That Americana airplay Top Ten Albums list is headed by the artist I'm the least familiar with! I guess I missed the JD McPherson Bandwagon somewhere along the line... On the other hand the quality and variety of music represented stands heads and shoulders above a similar type list for Top 40 AirHead Country Radio. 25 years of "Drinkin' and Smokin' Cigarettes" and the Reverend Horton Heat is still at it! He must consume a lot of anti-oxidant rich foods. That is so nice of Vince and Amy to host all of those "Make A Wish Foundation" children with terminal illnesses at the Ryman. I guess this makes both of them Christmas Angels at this time of year. Is it just me or has the average quality of music listed on the 2012 "Best Of" lists been really lackluster compared to previous years? Hmm...
