I was so excited after winning a couple of tickets from here at Engine 145 and now its gone down the tubes. My guess is a lack of ticket sales due to the tour's name. It should have been marketed as "Willie Nelson's Railroad Revival Tour" to catch people's attention. Oh well, it's too late now... I don't mind the Conor Oberst linkage but the fact they are friends with Jack White does disturb me a bit. Best quote of the week: "I can't stand the weather here (in Sweden). I don't know if you've experienced a Swedish winter, but I don't recommend it." (lol) I guess if they relocated to the US, then Lake Wobegone would not be a prime destination... Does anyone really think that naming a music festival "Bloody Roots" is a good idea? Now "Peroxide Roots" I could understand. I've never been much of a fan of The Band nor Levon Helm, but that tribute concert would have been quite an experience live. I'm glad there is so much detailed coverage out there. If I had attended I likely would have made trips to the bathroom and concession stands during the performances by Dierks Bentley. Not much to catch on the Opry this weekend. Tonight's highlight is Jaida Dreyer and Ray Stevens will be on the Saturday night Opry. Grade: ZZZzzz...
