Love Trailer’s country list song! Especially the line about the hot cousin in a pick-up truck. The final stanza kind of pays tribute to the late 40′s hit from Merle Travis “So Round, So Firm, So Fully Packed” which was literally constructed of popular advertising tag lines at the time! Although Merle applies the title to a woman he’s describing, it actually came from Lucky Strike cigarette ads.
That Jesse Winchester tribute album sounds a bit interesting. Well except for the fact Jesse was a Vietnam War draft dodger. Oh well.
Randy Travis needs to get into rehab fast or he won’t be around for long. Talk about a downward spiral.
Loretta may have a lot of recorded songs in the can, but are any of them any good? Hmm…
