The followup for Miss Tess sounds decent. I like the opening track on the Restless Heart album.

I love the fact David Serby has named his band “The Latest Scam”! At last we have an LA music artist who is telling it like it is! (lol) David is an acquaintance of mine and is a great guy. Talk about an artist who just loves to get out there and perform live. Sheesh!

I wasn’t planning on watching either the CMA Awards or the ridiculous “American Country Awards” on TV, but after reading the above I really, really don’t plan on tuning in now! (lol)

It appears Lou Reed took far too many real walks on the wild side during his life. He apparently wasn’t joking! Crikey mate!

Opry Alert! Tonight’s Opry features Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, TG Sheppard, Montgomery Gentry, Larry Gatlin, Maggie Rose, Dustin Lynch, and Barry Gibb with TG Sheppard’s wife Kelly Lang! Hey, this is getting kind of kinky! (lol) And Best of All NO Opry Legends!!!! WooHoo!!!! Grade: A

Only reason I’m voting for the ACAs is that the songwriter gets the award for Song of the Year. Brandy Clark is a co-writer on two of them.
