I could hardly be more excited about the news on Kathy Mattea. It will be great to hear some new music from her, and Sugar Hill will be a great fit for Kathy.

So Billy Gillman is using a charity fundraising single to try to get back in the game huh? It will be nice if the charity benefits even if Billy’s career at this point doesn’t.

It should have been Rachel Bradshaw that joined Della Mae! They would sure get a lot more PR value out of it at least.

Opry Alert! Tonight’s show features The Farm (as opposed to Keith Urban’s first group The Ranch), Mark Wills, Lee “Egoman” Brice, Dailey & Vincent, Connie Smith, and Johnny Counterfeit(?). I sure hope that last artist is better than Jonny Corndawg…
