I'm a big Everly Brothers fan (even the mushy stuff like "Devoted To You") and this cover version just doesn't cut it with me. Linda Ronstadt's version is not one to ever be challenged grasshopper. (Kung Fu reference!) I haven't paid attention to Fogerty's music since the CCR heyday but I did buy a CDX CD that contained his song "Gun Slinger" and it kicks butt!
