“Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires were married by Todd Snider.” Holy crap! They should have made it even “better” by doing it in style in Las Vegas with everyone dressed up like Elvis! Was Hayes Carll the best man by any chance? Crikey!

I’m all for George Strait getting another number 1 Top 40 single by May! At least George’s music is still identifiable as country, unlike so much of the stuff airing on AirHead Country radio these days. Let’s get Taylor Swift to commit to “30 By 30″ campaign with an enforceable mandatory retirement clause attached!

That John Fogerty album sounds kinda interesting. I’m able to stomach Kid Rock these days since I found out he was a political conservative. Maybe he and Ted Nugent can run for office in 2016? Go Kid!

Glad to hear about Alabama. I always thought they were a class act and their impact on country music is profound.

Kid Rock and Fogerty’s collaboration is actually pleasing to my ears.

I saw Skaggs and Chapman in Nashville for their Christmas show and it was outstanding. The Whites were great as well.
