Congratulations, Juli! Very well-deserved. :)

The Healer is actually filming outside Hendersonville, NC. I was at the set last week, quite randomly, when I was visiting a waterfall.

And Dierks’ rendition of Wish You Were Here was pretty incredible. Hauntingly beautiful.

Our fearless leader and Engine 145 editor, Juli Thanki, is far too modest about her big win yesterday as the IBMA Print Media Personality of the Year. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, however. It always has been- and always will be- about the music with her. Her passion and knowledge about the fields of country and bluegrass music is truly an inspiration. Her writing entertains at every turn and has made this music fan more educated with each article. I can think of no one more deserving. Congrats, my friend.
