Anything that hints of hardcore traditional country music will seem foreign and off-putting to such listeners who came to be "country" fans because of Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, and the like ad nauseum. I guess this explains why Sunny Sweeney's "Drink Myself Single" only made it to the high 30's on the Mediabase chart. Oh well... Opry Alert! The Opry continues its streak of mostly lackluster shows tonight with Lee (EgoMan) Brice, Dailey & Vincent (the bright spot), Diamond Rio, and Vince Gill.
