I haven't cared about Sugarland in years and last night's collaboration with Gaga forced me to care again. That was awesome.

Also, the Grammy nominations are pretty full of a lot of fail. Weak, weak year for country.

Wow, Lady GagMe and Jennifer Nettlesome performing together! I need to bookmark that link as its cheaper than Ipecac Syrup when I feel the need to barf...

That lead singer from the Alabama Shakes is definitely channeling some Janis Joplin in her vocal stylings. Truly a broad definition Americana act by today's standards that would likely appeal more to rock music fans than traditional country music lovers like myself. Its highly listenable though and more unique than most other new Americana acts these days. They should tour with the Carolina Chocolate Drops on the "Mulatto Girls Rule Tour"! (lol)

So Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedy's is a Louvin Brothers fan huh? I really don't know how to react to that. Hmmm...

Its too bad Jim Malec isn't here to comment on Jon W's article in the Nashville Scene. I sure miss those marathon spittin' matches. Good feuds are hard to come by these days.

I'm a big fan of both Sugarland and Lady Gaga, and I think "You and I" is one of the best pop songs of the year. Great performance by those two - certainly better than that dreadful VMA performance of the song.

I dig Lady Gaga, not exactly a fan of Sugarland, but that's one hell of a collaboration. Very impressive.
