So does that mean Jack Ingram is going back to his early days music-wise?

I like “Livin’ or Dyin'” but was never excited much by what followed. It appeared to me that he changed to try and fit the Nashville model. I can’t blame him for trying to cash in and become a star but it didn’t work.

Maybe he’ll start making better music.

The promoters of the LA George Strait concert had full page ads running in every newspaper in the greater Los Angeles area! They probably needed a sell-out just to recoup their promotion costs! (lol) And no I didn’t plan on attending as I don’t do large indoor venue shows any longer and haven’t for years. I’d rather see a no-name artist in a small listening room than a big name in a big arena, and it’s a whole lot cheaper too! (lol)

Joey is still in prime child bearing age, but isn’t Rory getting a little long in the tooth? Hmm…

That comment from the Washington Post about Florida-Georgia Line patently idiotic! But the nagain I consider everything that is printed in the Washington Compost Pile and New York Slimes newsrags to be idiotic…

    Um, Rick–
“That comment from the Washington Post about Florida-Georgia Line” is not a comment from the Washington Post–It’s a comment from Brian Kelley–who evidently is one of the characters in Florida-Georgia Line. It’s known in the newspaper business as a “quote.”

I hope Jack is going back to more of cutting songs he wrote and not as many from outside writers. I’m happy he had the success he did. That ship has sailed. However, he has a bulit in large regional audience that will buy tickets and merch and his music and are very ready for something new. He puts on a great show and can have a very long career on the Texas/Red Dirt Circut and be a top draw for years to come.
