Other songs I can think of would be Heartache Tonight by Conway Twitty (the most successful Eagles cover) or the double trouble song A Headache Tomorrow Or A Heartache Tonight by Mickey Gilley.

When I first acquired the debut Cherryholmes album and was listening through my reaction was "yeah, this stuff is okay but its no home run". That was until I encountered "Brand New Heartache" and became really glad I had purchased the CD. I really like the songs Cia Leigh writes and sings and if the family band ever self-destructs, Cia will no doubt have a great solo career.

I do love Ricky Skaggs' version of "I've Got a New Heartache".

The Bryant's were one of the most amazing songwriting teams ever. I consider them a sort of Lennon-McCartney of their era.

I dunno, even if I were to agree that "Brand New Heartache" is a better song than "I've Got A New Heartache" (which I don't), I'd probably go with the magical combination of Don and Phil Everly ( http://www.amazon.com/Brand-New-Heartache/dp/B001287QKQ ) or - personal preference - the magical combination of Dudley Connell and Larry Stephenson ( http://www.amazon.com/Brand-New-Heartache/dp/B001287QKQ ). Nice call on Cherryholmes, though!
