I wouldn't likely touch anything on that list just due to the mental association they now engender with Shooter himself! Ugh. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings were featured on last week's A Prairie Home Companion and it was strange to hear Gillian sing a Christmas song in a straight forward manner. I was impressed how nice her singing voice can sound when she'd not doing her normal, self penned "dour" songs as she described them. Freebie music from Del McCOury eh? I'm in!
