Ya know, I always enjoyed “Memphis in the Meantime,” but I didn’t appreciate it in all its truth until I moved to Nashville.

Opry Alert! Tonight’s Opry will include Wynonna, Brett Eldridge, Jana Kramer, The Time Jumpers, Vince Gill, and The Band Perry. Sadly Little Jimmy Dickens will be there as well. Still it gets a Grade: A!
    Schedule: http://www.opry.com/shows/ThisWeek.html

I think two of the news items above may have the wrong links! I would expect Miranda and the Pistol Annies to be featured on the new hunting show and Chuck Wicks to be involved with “Say Yes To The Dress”!…(lol)

Juli, I sure hope you plan on catching Kasey Chambers at The Birchmere or another venue in your neck of the woods this coming weekend. A concert review would also be greatly appreciated! (And some pictures of Jill Andrews as well…lol) maybe a quick interview with Ashleigh Dallas could be arranged. I’m hoping she will be the next Catherine Britt who will choose to stay on the path of true country rigtheousnes.

•Speaking of Tim, the legal battle with Curb continues

I get the impression that Curb has succeeded in the past in intimidating a lot of artists and other who didn’t have the resources or wherewithal to fight them.

Somehow, I don’t Curb will have any luck trying to bully McGraw and Borchetta, who are at the top of their game and have the capacity to bring in the best legal specialists in the country to represent their interests. I’m sure they’ll throw just as many subpoenas and demands in the other direction as Curb is throwing at them.
