Hailing from San Francisco, scrappy string band The Brothers Comatose are one of Americana’s most entertaining up-and-coming acts. Sophomore album Respect the Van is chock-full of infectious, high-energy songs, making it a perfect summer soundtrack for roadtrips and backyard barbecues.

Give a listen to “Modern Day Sinners,” the album’s opening track:

I am looking forward to the new album and seeing them live sometime this summer. I’ve seen them before and they put on a great live show.
