...go for it Emily; the mix may be just what you need to sing and the variety of your musical talent can be delivered in that way, too. I'm sure along the way you have learned some valuable tricks of the trade and some good tips also from other artists' singing and writings. This is a good opportunity for you to show what you can do on more levels, then. I'm sure it will go well being you will be doing a more of "YOU" thing. I wish you well.

I'm glad to read Emily is a Nashville Music Machine survivor at this point. Emily's original Capitol label album wasn't really country in any form, so it's not like she has strayed away from country music in her new pursuits. I do miss hearing her sing Blue Sky on the Opry now and then though.

Emily and Sarah Buxton were two of the most engaging female personalities and talents to be signed to major Nashville labels back in the mid 2000's. Its just a shame their music didn't engage with Top 40 Country radio listeners in a big way.

Enjoyed reading the interview. Thanks. Love the Hate You Love You EP. I just wish the lyrics were available somewhere. There are a few words I can't make out. Also love "Blue Sky" and her video "That's How the Boy Gets the Girl in the Movies". Wish the latter song was available on i-Tunes.
