I hope for Cowboy Copas’ sake that heaven looks a lot like “Alabam”. I must say I prefer the Tennessee Ernie Ford version of “Hog Tied Over You”, but it would have been nice if Patsy had been his duet partner.
Its good to see and hear that Emily West hasn’t thrown in the towel yet. That girl has a lot of spunk. Go Emily!
An Avett Brothers concert scheduled for a local Indian Casino is getting advertised on classic rock radio stations in LA. I can’t imagine that many people here have ever heard of them apart from local college radio stations and the syndicated “Altville” show late Sunday nights. Hmm.
I’m pissed off at Kasey Chambers for not booking any shows in Southern California! But I still might read Kelly “Red Dirt” Dearmore’s interview anyway…

I really hope there’s going to be a way to buy Emily West’s album online as I really really want it.

Awesome interview with Kasey Chambers. She really is delightful. Considering Rattlin’ Bones continues to be my very favorite album ever,I’m really happy that she feels that it will be her favorite album in 20 years, that it’s the album that she felt most musically comfortable, and that she says that they’ll make another album together someday. I’m pretty sure that makes my day.
