Paul has a point there, in that she was already a good and affecting country singer in the first place, major label once, and her vocal timber, etc. are more typical of country. But a) variations in sounds of bluegrass singers should be appreciated and encouraged and b) bluegrass–as with Bradley Walker, who obvioulsy sounds like a hinky tonker, says yes and emraaces her, so there she goes. Exit the steel guitars!

I always thoughtr it was a shame that her first album TROUBLE AT THE DOOR was not a success. I would have preferred that her comeback be based on traditional country rather than bluegrass, but she is a fine singer and I guess her success should be appreciated in whatever form it takes, although I still hope for another country album someday

I have the first three CDs…love her music it is awesome. Having problems getting my hands on this 4th one. Whoever gets it, I guarantee you will be blessed. Buy them as Christmas presents..your family will love it I’m sure.
