Demi Lovato is cute and all, and she has a good voice, but she belts and hollers way too much for me. Listening to her music just leaves my ears completely worn out. I’m not sure I can see her bringing a whole lot of interpretive ability to a country project, but I would at least give it a chance.

I just wish the JaneDear Girls would go away.

Thanks for the links to the Aussie country music videos included in the list. The video production values may not be up to Nashville big label levels, but the music is usually far superior to Nashywood’s output these days and worth my time to listen to.

You mean 60 Minutes hasn’t done a Taylor Swift feature yet? What’s up with that?

Id love to see Joey+Rory’s “Headache” and Sunny Sweeney’s new single both make it to the Top 10 in AirHead Country Radio land. Sadly that’s about as likely as Obama carrying the Tea Party vote in the November 2012 election.

i love sad christmas movies and stories, but the band perry and justin bieber doing a christmas song together is almost too sad, even for my likeing.
