I’m really hoping that no lables in Nashville sign Danny Gokey, he’s my least favorite contestant ever on the show, and if you read the article he says he doesn’t even like country music, just likes the message of it which says a lot about his dedication to tradition…

Isn’t Danny Gokey the fake-soul-brother-gospel-singer-wannabe guy? I mean, other than Taylor Hicks.

Sarah’s songs probably are better then most of what is on the radio now. However isn’t that about the faintest praise anyone has ever been damned with?

I figured Gokey would make a move to Country after the show as it’s the only genre where he and his Christian values would ‘work’ outside of CCM.

If Danny Gokey gets a record deal in Nashville, it would finally be time to level the entire town and start from scratch.

Randy Houser must feel good about following in Chuck Wicks’ footsteps. Maybe he’ll land himself a plastic girlfriend too.

I’ve heard that Carrie Underwood has been inspired by Todd Snider’s latest album and is going to title her new release “The Cardboard Cut-Out Plan”! (lol) Hey NorthTexas what’s with the name switch to TexasVet? Are you trying to confuse me?

If you just a slightly rearrange the letters in his name Dan Gokey becomes Donkey Ga! (Umm, for whatever that is worth…)

You would have to mention the Bacon Brothers when I’m getting hungry for lunch! Looks like a trip to Carls’s Jr. is in my near future.

Lucky Tubb and the Modern Day Troubadours album Damn the Luck comes out today also. Here’s the title track. It’s about all I’ve listened to the last few days.

That Lucky Tubb album is an excellent listen. Got to see him open for Hank III last week; I liked his set a lot better than III’s. Lucky’s elusive first album is pretty good too.

How ever-so right Alison is about Sara Evans. She’s fantastic, I loved watching her perform live… she absolutely nailed Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and her new song “What That Drink Cost Me” is such a brilliant song

Opry Alert! Tonight’s Opry will feature The Steeldrivers, Kate & Kacey Coppola, Craig Morgan, and Jimmy Wayne along with the usual “Opry Legends”.
I’m really looking forward to hearing the Steeldrivers and Kate & Kacey and that’s about it…(lol)

I hate Danny Gokey with the passion of the intensity of 1000 suns.

Northtexas is where I live…TexasVet is what I am.

TexasVet, you know I’d much rather call you Northy than Vetty, but I guess that’s just the way it goes sometimes…(lol)

PS – You should like the cover of Rhonda Vincent’s latest album “Destination Life” as Rhonda is looking suspiciously like Carrie Underwood in that photo! Yikes, Carrie is even corrupting the bluegrass music realm! Is there no end to this madness? (lol)

Regardless of what ZB wears or doesn’t wear, that’s the most talented band in Country music right now. I pray for the day that they take down the Flatt Rascals and send ‘em to the trash heap.

Martina is in need of a complete overall. All her songs and videos are blending into one. She needs to mine better songs and fresh writers. Also needs to strip away the sheen a bit. An artist who could excite with her voice, is now a 40-something pandering to a crowd that aint buying

Any good will Randy Houser scored with his first single/Letterman phenomenon got completely washed away by this atrocious second single. Im so tired of this macho-come-on country music.
Randy enjoy your stay in the top ten and get ready for the bargain bin.
