So someone gets a good review because they reference the trouble of the South but someone who sings of the positive things you call cliche's gets a bad review. Is there some hidden political agenda working here? Maybe Americana is your choice. It would fit politically for some. Great artists but leftists which is their right. But don;t let that color your commentary or reviews. And yes, some of us who are not extremely welcome with comments here really do know G chord and it might surprise some that we may actually know music.
