I can definitely hear the Elizabeth Cook comparison, though her voice is more toned down than Cook’s.

Nice review… I’ve seen her a few times in the Bay Area and but I never compared her voice to Elizabeth Cook… I’ll have to listen to her CD a little more…

Fans of A Prairie Home Companion have heard Nell on a recent compilation show broadcast where she performed as 1/2 of The Henriettas. When performing as The Henriettas they do songs made famous by The Cackle Sisters back in the 1930′s complete with the wackiest yodeling ever heard! In looking at this CD I see there are a couple of Henrietta tracks on board for those interested to hear a Cackle Sisters song or two.

There are a couple of tracks on this CD I do plan on downloading as Nell has a fine voice for acoustic folk and bluegrass style songs. Good stuff!
